The art of setting application-specific properties

To set the desired mechanical and technological properties in the steels we produce, heat treatment is one of the main processes in the production chain in addition to melting and forging. To carry out appropriate quality heat treatment, we have available more than 30 furnaces with batch weights of up to 80 t and lengths of up to 8,000 mm. We implement the most common annealing and tempering processes to the tightest temperature tolerances. Quenching is carried out in water and polymer quench tanks with a capacity of up to 150 m³ of medium.
